The Twelve Colonies of Kobol is the confederation formed by the twelve founding colonies, originally founded to fight the Cylons in the First Cylon War it has since evolved in a full nationstate. The Twelve Colonies of Kobol were reduced to a fleet of civilian and military ships following the Fall of the Twelve Colonies.
